Thank you for purchasing an All In One Junior Day Permit for fishing on the Six Mile River, Potterwall Dam and our coarse fishery below the Deer Park Bridge in the Castle Ground. It is important that you familiarise yourself with the Antrim and District Angling Associations clubs rules and by-laws. While fishing the club waters you are under the jurisdiction of the club.
Day tickets are £4 and you must complete this permit order and present it if asked to do so. They are available from the 1st March until 30th September 2024. The Coarse Fishery closes on the 30th July and Potterwall Dam is open all year.
All under 18s much carry a valid day permit and be strictly accompanied by an Adult. Day permits are for fly fishing only or coarse fishing below the Deer Park Bridge in the Castle Gardens. No day permit holder is permitted to use coarse, bait or spinning rod, outside fo the coarse fishery, (see rules) For fly fishing only single/double (no trebles) barbless hooks are permitted.
Day Permits are permitted between 8.30am and 10.30pm on the date stated on your email confirmation. Strictly NO Sunday fishing.
You must produce your email permit confirmation if you are asked to do so. Please cooperate fully with our club bailiffs.
You must supply your game angling rod license number to purchase a day permit. This can be purchased here: DAERA Rod Licence Please note if you purchase a game rod licence this will also inc a coarse licence.
Tickets are non refundable, non transferable and can only be used by the named permit holder.
A bag limit of one fish per day is permitted. Fish must be between 12 and 18 inches, however the club strongly endorses catch and release. All salmon must be released. A bag limit of 4 coarse fish may be taken. All Dollghan Trout caught while coarse fishing must be retuned regardless of condition.
Please respect other angler’s space. We suggest 4 rod lengths down stream and 3 rod lengths upstream as a general rule.
Please read and make yourself familiar with our code of conduct. Any breach of this code will result in your fishing permit being removed.
